How The US Masters Plays Out

Each year, the US Masters tees off with a practice round. The total number of rounds played is four, which means this year’s tournament will conclude on April 9. Every round is made up of 18 holes, and the idea is to finish each round in as few strokes as possible, or to remain as far under par as you can.

Once the second round has been played, the ranking process begins and the golf betting field narrows. Only the top 50 players get to advance to the third and fourth rounds.

Masters Betting Odds 2024

This year’s outright favourite to win is Rory Mllroy. Notable is that the US Masters is the one major trophy not yet won by the Irishman.

More early Masters picks and favourites include Cameron Smith (AUS), Jon Rahm (Spain), Jordan Spieth (US), Scottie Scheffler (US), Justin Thomas (US), Xander Schauffele (US), and Brooks Koepka (US).
